About Our Foundation

Founded on the principles of equality, empowerment, and hope, we are dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for marginalized women.

Our Mission

To empower marginalized women — including single mothers, formerly incarcerated women, and those facing poverty — by breaking down barriers to housing, education, employment, and wellness. Through holistic support and community partnerships, the program restores dignity, builds stability, and equips women to live independent and thriving lives.

Trania L. Marves

Founder, Advocate, and Purpose-Driven Leader, President, Board of Directors, Foundation of Equality and Empowerment

Trania L. Marves is a dynamic and purpose-driven leader whose remarkable journey stands as a testament to resilience, faith, and the power of community. Without formal higher education or conventional business training, she has blazed an extraordinary path as an entrepreneur, consultant, speaker, and nonprofit founder—guided by her deep spiritual foundation and unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

Raised in the heart of Houston’s Sunnyside Gardens neighborhood, Trania was surrounded by the enduring values of hard work, love, and faith. The legacy of her father and grandfathers laid the groundwork for a steadfast work ethic, while the nurturing influence of her mother and grandmothers shaped her compassionate, service-oriented heart. Today, she honors their strength by investing in others with the same care, vision, and grace that was modeled for her.

As the proud mother of an adult daughter and grandmother to two beloved grandchildren, Trania’s personal experiences fuel her mission to inspire and uplift. Her professional journey spans years of entrepreneurial success and public speaking, marked by a spirit of perseverance that has propelled her through adversity and into impactful leadership.

With bold compassion and strategic vision, Trania established a nonprofit organization that serves women navigating some of life’s toughest circumstances—specifically low-income single mothers and women reentering society after incarceration. Her organization offers a robust array of services including transitional housing assistance, job placement, career readiness training, and educational support. Through this work, she is not only transforming individual lives but also restoring families and strengthening communities.

Trania’s approach to leadership is rooted in empathy and empowerment. She believes in helping others discover their purpose, develop sustainable goals, and pursue economic independence through entrepreneurship and generational wealth-building. Her voice is one of encouragement, her presence one of authenticity, and her work a catalyst for long-term change.

For Trania L. Marves, the mission is clear: to ensure that no woman feels forgotten, no dream goes unsupported, and no potential remains untapped. Her life is proof that faith, determination, and love can create a lasting impact—one woman, one family, and one community at a time.

She is more than a leader—she is a living testimony of what it means to rise, rebuild, and reach back to lift others.
